We are encouraged to consider that which keeps us safe. Jesus is the person who is our “rampart,” his ways are our “bulwark,” his community is our fortified wall. Admire God’s great protection of you.

Count the many places in your life where you can identify the loving and good activity of God. Where has he made you strong and tall. Maybe your move toward truth-telling, the way your patience has grown. This morning, a tower I’m grateful for is emerging joy in my spirit. How about you?
