MM 1/30/15 the faith that Joy requires

It brings God great pleasure when you trust God’s good intention toward you even when you don’t understand what God’s up to in your life. Count it joy, my friend, when you encounter trials of any kind.

Today we begin a journey through the first few verses of James. It’s a pretty tall order: consider it joy when you face any kind of trial….we’ll see. Join me won’t you?

MM 1/1/15 Joy

Happy new year! May it be full of Joy. Joy in the doorway you walk through to experience the beauty of God’s presence. Follow your joy to the heights of God’s love.

With you on the journey,

sin and Joy

When I was in college I was in a car accident and my nose was broken. It healed incorrectly and in order to put it right, the drs had to re-break it so it could heal correctly. Sure, sin has harmed you, and maybe God has had to “rebreak” some of your bones to put you right. The good news is that you are no longer broken, you are recuperating! Rejoice and be glad. Love you, D
