It brings God great pleasure when you trust God’s good intention toward you even when you don’t understand what God’s up to in your life. Count it joy, my friend, when you encounter trials of any kind.

When you are not feeling the Joy, go back and ponder God’s love, God’s character, God’s victory over death; this makes space in your soul for Joy to revive.

Each year I ask God for a word to be my focus for the year. So far, after three days the word that catches my spirit is joy. Joy is the fruit of the Spirit, and a choice. What word would God give you in 2015?
MM 1/3/15 more Joy from Debby Bellingham on Vimeo.
Happy new year! May it be full of Joy. Joy in the doorway you walk through to experience the beauty of God’s presence. Follow your joy to the heights of God’s love.
With you on the journey,
Ask God to restock the shelves of your life with the joy you experienced when you first met Jesus. Amen

When I was in college I was in a car accident and my nose was broken. It healed incorrectly and in order to put it right, the drs had to re-break it so it could heal correctly. Sure, sin has harmed you, and maybe God has had to “rebreak” some of your bones to put you right. The good news is that you are no longer broken, you are recuperating! Rejoice and be glad. Love you, D
