We’re to “suffer” one another in love, to will their best, to love them with agape; even the ones who bug us; even the ones we don’t even like. That’s a tall order, but God’s agape toward us make it possible. Amen.

Well, as has been said, “do as I say, not as I do.” Yesterday, I spoke of remaining faithful and patient in the face of temptation and I did not. Thank goodness God’s mercies are new every morning. Amen. Let’s trust God today for the battle, and remember the war’s been won.

Life sometimes feels weary and we may cry, “how long, oh Lord?” But Paul reminds us that the war is won, all we need do is remain faithful to our duty. Paul calls this patience. Hang in there, my friend.
