Oh Deb. I am really struggling with how God could cast this “lot” for my believer brother. He felt abandoned by God and so unworthy. Why? How? I know there are no easy answers but I am hurting so when I think of him.

Dear Karen, I so understand your questions. I share them with you. I cannot imagine your pain, it is real and it is significant. Feeling it almost memorializes your dear brother. He is missed and important. I pray especially for your nieces. How they must be aching. My only hope (and it is not a dismissal of your pain) is that his pain is ended. His questions are quieted. He rests in love.
