First Friday of Advent – God as Perry Mason

Isaiah 3:8-15 “The Lord rises to argue his case.” Advent reminds us that God does not stand aloof; God enters the fray; God stands up for his people. The incarnation is proof that God takes our case, the Lord is our advocate.
